Hurun Report 2023 Reveals Significant Growth in China's High Net Worth Households

Hurun Report 2023: 138,000 Households in China with Assets Worth at least 100 Million RMB, 5.18 Million Households with Assets Worth at least 6 Million RMB

On March 10th, according to the 2022 Hurun Wealth Report, as of January 1st, 2022, the number of “affluent households” in China with assets worth at least 6 million RMB had reached 5.18 million households, an increase of 100,000 households from the previous year, with a growth rate of 2.1%. The number of “ultra-high net worth households” with assets worth at least 100 million RMB reached 138,000 households, an increase of 4,600 households from the previous year, with a growth rate of 3.5%. Among them, the number of “ultra-high net worth households” with investable assets worth at least 100 million RMB reached 82,000 households, with a growth rate of 3.7%.
